Man

"Should I? Or should I not? Should I just walk away? As silent as possible? Or should i tell her that? Maybe I should not. Should I not tell you again? should I just.. sigh. runaway?" the thoughts running through his mind like a bullet train. His tiny little brain cells moving as quickly as they do without a sense or feeling of sleepiness. More of adrenaline were running through his body going through his veins, capillaries and back to his heart, while his heart pumps blood slowly through and the process is repeated all over again.

It was two a.m and he couldn't sleep, tossing and turning, thinking and thinking. Thoughts flashed back when they were so happy together, holding hands, kissing under the moonlight, on the rooftop of his pent house and sometimes looking at the stars, gazing at the distant planets which seemed so far, on his house balcony, they were talking silently, whispering words like "I love you." "Yeah me too" "I missed you" "I wanna kiss you" "I wanna hold you." "I wanna make out with you". The sentences, the imagination and memory stored at some parts of his large brain, keeping it all safe and sound, locked in his folders of brains. He thought of moments where they kissed and hugged in his house, holding each other tight and watching romantic movies, under his glittery hall, with dim lights and the air-conditioner was running with silence. He could not get the thoughts out of his mind, he sat up straight and walked to the kitchen. He saw visions of her walking around the house, while he, in another vision, was with her, chatting and holding hands, it became as though a horror movie for him. He froze as goosebumps swarmed all around his body, his hairs all standing upright. He slowly, ignorantly walked to the kitchen, gaining some bravery as though he thought to walk into the kitchen and take a sip of water from the fridge. he drank the sip and sat on the kitchen chair, where he placed a "bar-like" table in the middle, surrounded with chairs. He stared onto the marbled floor and suddenly images appear, and again it reflected him and her. Two of them were seen romantically eating in Italiannies, laughing and lips touching as they ate the dinner, so sweet as they were. He shook his head left to right, left to right and does it again and again. Finally the images faded. He stood up and walked to his room, the clock displayed the time, three twenty five a.m. He walked to the balcony and opened the door, gushes of wind enters his room as the atmospheric pressure were different, his room was colder than the outside. He opened the sliding grill and walked outside. The cool winds crushed across his skin, he felt warm, strangely, then he stared into the orange lighted streets. They seem to be playing with his mind, the lights resembled her smile, the lights resembled her sweet looks, the lights resembled her. Everything he saw resembled her. Finally he sat on the balcony and did what most man would not do, he sat there and cried. He cried as silently as possible, hoping for hope to comeby from the sky and help him cheer up, he felt as though his heart was melted, taken away by her heart melting smile, he felt strange feelings, he felt no happiness at all, he felt as though he was the only one left on earth, he felt as though he was so hopeless, all kinds of strange feelings surrounded him, as though evil itself got hold of his life.

He sat there and looked out into the sky, tears filling his eyes, he cried softly and said, "What should I do now?" He looked down on the tiled floor of his balcony, nothing paints this time, it was as original as possible. He finally looks up and suddenly he felt their entire moments together flashed by like a film strip. He slowly watched frame by frame where they were making out, holding hands in the cinema, kissing in his house, chatting happily, out to the restaurant with friends, during their anniversary what did they do, during the times where they argued, the times where they fought hard to win, where they finally broke down and apologized, it all played as though it was meant to be played, suddenly it all slows down, till the time where they were an official couple together, they were at a park, somewhere beautiful and serene, somewhere where they felt no strange feelings, no, nothing and he remembered this, "I love you so much that when another guy comes into ur life and you love him. I'll leave you. Without hesitation. But remember, I love you and love is never ending. I'll be happy, don't worry about me by then."

Three and a half years later...

He looked over his left and saw the beautiness in her, not in her face, not in her eyes, not in her smile, not on her facial expression, but all he saw was inside her, he saw how innocent and cute she could be at times, saw their entire life passed by till the left earth. He saw everything went by when they slept together. He finally got up and left a note on the table saying this, "Hey baby, I know we've been together for very long, and I do know you love me and I do know I love you, but recently I have been diagnosed with cancer. I'm sorry, it could spread to you, I know this sounds rather foolish of me to say, but that day when I met your friends, one of them had a sparkle in his eye when he looked at you. I knew from that time on, you both were meant together. I'm sorry for leaving you now, but I've just got to go. I'm sorry. I can't help myself, what more could I help you? Forgive me again darling, and I know you would still love me till the day you die. We promised. Watching you sleep makes me happy. All our memories will be in here. :) I Love You Babe." And he signed the note and looked around his house, he even wrote a will to pass it down to her children and to her and to her future husband. He opened the door and one last look he glanced around his hard earned home and walked out of the door, closing it silently and with a tears flowing from his eyes he left the apartment and was never seen again.
